On July 3, medical marijuana users can head out to Quixote’s True Blue bar in Denver, Colorodo, to experience the HomeGrown Freedom Festival, a gathering and concert exclusively for MMJ patients. This gathering is designed to connect patients with the local dispensaries and caregivers that best fit the individual’s needs.

This weekend, the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, California, will host the 32^nd annual Harmony Festival. Considered both a music festival and an exposition for counter-culture lifestyle options, Harmony Festival’s core values include health, art, ecology, healthy living, and spirituality. Starting out as the Health & Harmony Festival in 1978, Harmony is now the longest continuously running premier music and lifestyle festival on the West coast.

Wondering what to do with all those extra seeds laying around? Plant them in the wild!  Johnny Pot Seed, a newly established organization for the legalization of cannabis, is heading around the country attending festivals, fairs, and concerts to provide peatpods and instructions for people who want to put their extra seeds to use by planting them alongside highways and country roads. 

Next week, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) will bring a host of psychedelic scientists and visionary artists together in San Jose, California for the largest conference of its kind in the U.S. in 17 years.
